My name is Steven Carlton, and I am a 2010 graduate of York Technical College (Rock Hill, SC) and hold an Applied Science Diploma majoring in Teleproduction Technology.  As well as being a published novelist, I am the owner and operator of Black Dove Media Arts.  I've worked on a wide range of television programs in various capacities including Technical Director, Chief Editor, Writer, Visual Effects Supervisor, Director of Video Production, Sound Editor, and Director.  

I live in Chester, South Carolina, with my beautiful wife of 33 years, Anita.  Together we've raised six children and are the grandparents of six. I have too many hobbies, which pairs quite well with my ADD. When I'm not writing fiction, I’m usually doing something else creative, like inventing recipes, dabbling in digital design, or 3D printing. At other times I’m tripping over the family dog, eating far too much chocolate, and thinking seriously about getting organized.  Anita wishes for that, too.
